The Bengals are set to take on the Cowboys for “Monday Night Football” in Week 14. While this matchup initially promised to be a thrilling showdown, both teams have struggled significantly this season, leaving their playoff hopes hanging by a thread.
Cincinnati has fallen into a rough patch, dropping three consecutive games to bring their record to 4-8, placing them third in the AFC North. With five games remaining in the season, even if they manage to win all of them, they would finish at 9-8. Unfortunately, the Bengals do not control their own destiny; any hopes of a playoff berth hinge on winning out and relying on favorable outcomes across the league.
On the other hand, the Cowboys started their season with a victory against the Browns but quickly hit a rough patch, losing two straight. After bouncing back with two wins, they found themselves at 3-2 after five weeks. However, a five-game losing streak followed, compounded by the loss of starting quarterback Dak Prescott for the season due to a hamstring injury. Currently, the Cowboys sit at 5-7, also in third place in the NFC East. If they can win out, they would finish at 10-7, keeping their playoff hopes alive, contingent on other results.
As the excitement builds for this matchup, fans can look forward to live scoring updates and highlights from the Cowboys vs. Bengals game. Stay tuned for all the action as it unfolds!

End of first quarter: Cowboys 7, Bengals 7
8:46 p.m.: Lamb evades a pair of would-be tacklers on the screen play and races down the left-hand sideline, rumbling 44 yards before being brought down. Business as usual for Dallas…and Cincinnati’s defense.
8:39 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Burrow finds Chase in the corner of the end zone. Despite being blanketed by DaRon Bland, the swiftness of the toss from Burrow and precise route-running from Chase was too much to overcome.
