She revealed how she opened up on her challenges because nobody else was talking about it.
Andrews has become a voice for women’s health issues ever since her IVF journey was revealed.
She had a nine-year journey with IVF, and she went public with it after her seventh round in 2021.
“My husband would rather we not be so public, me not be so public,” she said, reflecting on her partner Jarret Stoll’s feelings. Stoll, a former Stanley Cup-winning NHL star, expressed his desire for a more private life, especially regarding their fertility struggles.
He was particularly keen to keep their fertility struggle out of the public eye, prompting Andrews to share her thoughts.
“He was just like, ‘Why do we have to say this?’” she recalled, adding, “And I said, ‘Because these waiting rooms are packed.’”
Andrews passionately stated, “This sucks. I am so sick of sticking myself with needles and going in there and having a happy face and not telling anyone about it.”
The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Mack Roger Stoll, via a surrogate in July 2023.
Balancing Fame and Family
Andrews is now always in the spotlight, juggling her broadcasting duties with her clothing brand. She shared insights about her busy work-life balance in the same interview.
“I talked about it on a walk with my husband last night as we were walking our dog,” she mentioned, emphasizing the hectic nature of their lives.
“We’ve got a lot going on. Plus, it’s a Super Bowl year. We have Tom Brady on our broadcasting crew this year. So it’s going to be a lot.”
