LaFleur’s Faith: Love Will Shine When It’s Time

Matt LaFleur expresses confidence in Jordan Love's readiness, emphasizing trust in his preparation and skills.

The Packers clinched a compelling victory with Malik Willis commanding the field on Sunday, but don’t get your hopes up—this doesn’t influence Jordan Love’s status for Week Three one iota!

LaFleur’s Firm Stance on Love’s Availability

Head coach Matt LaFleur wasted no time clarifying in his press conference that the team’s hard-fought 16-10 win has zero impact on Love’s availability for the crucial Week Three showdown in Tennessee. Love had been sidelined during the victory over the Colts due to a knee injury.

“If he’s ready, he’ll be ready. If he’s not, we’ll proceed with Malik,” LaFleur stated, leaving no room for misunderstanding.

Love’s Monday Visit and Health Status

LaFleur mentioned that Love was seen at the training facility Monday. Yet, intriguingly, he hadn’t yet touched base with the team’s medical staff before the presser. We’ll get a clearer picture on Wednesday, the same day the team will lace up and hit the practice field for their first training session of the week.

The Game Plan Moving Forward

LaFleur pointed out that it would be “ideal” for Love to participate in practice before experiencing game-time action, especially given that he’s been out for two weeks. But, ever the pragmatic strategist, LaFleur didn’t rule out the prospect of Love playing sans practice.

So, whether you’re a die-hard fan hoping to see Love back in the saddle or eager to witness another Willis-led triumph, the Packers are playing it close to the chest—valuable details to track as we move towards another thrilling NFL weekend!
