Texans' wide receiver Nico Collins is making steady progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

In an exciting development for the Houston Texans, wide receiver Nico Collins is currently considered day-to-day following a hamstring injury he sustained during Sunday’s thrilling victory over the visiting Buffalo Bills.

Coach DeMeco Ryans shared that Collins will undergo further evaluation as the week progresses. Reports from KPRC have Texans fans feeling optimistic about Collins’s potential return for the upcoming Week 6 clash against the New England Patriots (1-4). The Texans, impressively sitting at 4-1, will be keen to have their dynamic wideout back on the field.

Collins’s injury came on a spectacular 67-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter, after which he did not return. Prior to his exit, Collins had already racked up two receptions for a solid 78 yards, contributing significantly to the 23-20 victory. At just 25 years old, Collins is proving to be a critical component of the Texans’ offensive arsenal, with 32 receptions for 567 yards and a league-leading three touchdowns this season.

However, the Texans also faced challenges with injuries to safety Jimmie Ward (groin) and running back British Brooks (knee) during the game. Here’s hoping their recovery is swift, and they return to the field soon, continuing to electrify fans with their tenacity and skill!

As the Texans continue to power through the season, all eyes will be on Nico Collins and the impact his return could have on ensuring their success in the upcoming games. Stay tuned as we eagerly await further updates on his recovery!
