Top streaming quarterbacks to consider for your fantasy lineup in Week 11

Week 11 is upon us, and while the quarterback position doesn’t face a catastrophic slate of bye weeks, the impact of missing players like Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield will certainly be felt. If you were relying on Daniel Jones or Bryce Young, it might be time to reevaluate your fantasy strategy. This season, the quarterback landscape has been a mixed bag, with only a handful of true “must-start” players. For many fantasy managers, streaming quarterbacks—picking up a player from the waiver wire based on matchups—has become an appealing strategy.

So, who should you target as streaming options for Week 11? Here are some of the best quarterbacks available in at least 50% of ESPN public leagues.

1. Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. BAL) — 59.8% Available

Let’s start with Russell Wilson. The naysayers who criticized the Pittsburgh Steelers for replacing Justin Fields with Wilson owe him an apology. Although Wilson’s three games with the Steelers don’t qualify him for many stat leaderboards, his adjusted yards per pass attempt of 9.55 would rank him second among quarterbacks, and his passer rating of 105.9 would place him third. Not too shabby!

In fact, he’s the QB7 in fantasy points per game, averaging 19.3. You might think that facing the formidable Baltimore Ravens could bring him back down to earth, but this matchup could actually work in his favor. The Ravens allow 25.3 points per game, ranking them eighth in the NFL for points allowed, and they are one of only three teams giving up over 20 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

While I wouldn’t declare Wilson a weekly starter just yet, his potential is undeniable. Adding him this week not only provides a solid option for Week 11 but could also give you a reliable player for the coming weeks. His schedule includes matchups against the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, both of whom have struggled against quarterbacks this season. Plus, he’ll face the Ravens again during playoff time in Week 16!

If you’re considering using waiver priority or spending FAAB on a quarterback, Wilson is worth the investment this week.

2. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. CIN) — 52.2% Available

If Wilson isn’t available, Justin Herbert is another solid option, especially with the Bengals on the horizon. After a slow start, Herbert has turned it around in recent weeks, scoring 24.1, 19.5, and 19.8 fantasy points in his last three games. Interestingly, none of the defenses he faced during that stretch rank in the top 15 for fantasy production allowed to quarterbacks.

Now, he’s up against the Bengals, who have allowed 30-plus points in two of their last three games. It’s not just elite quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson who have exploited them; even the Cleveland Browns’ trio of quarterbacks combined for 19.5 points against this defense. The Bengals have struggled to contain opposing quarterbacks, making Herbert a strong candidate to keep rolling.

3. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (vs. LV) — 53.7% Available

Next up is Tua Tagovailoa. The Miami Dolphins have had a rollercoaster season, and while their performance without Tua has been dismal, his presence can spark the offense. Although Tua’s performance can vary, he typically throws the ball 25-30 times, and with playmakers around him, he has the potential for big plays.

This week, Tua faces the Las Vegas Raiders, who have struggled with tackling all season. With a PFF tackling grade of just 30.0 and an alarming 56 missed tackles on passing plays, this matchup is ripe for Tua to exploit. If he can connect with his playmakers, we could see a breakout performance.

Honorable Mention: Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts (@ NYJ)

While Anthony Richardson doesn’t get an official selection this week due to uncertainty surrounding his playing status, he remains an intriguing option. If he does get the start, his dual-threat ability could provide a significant boost to your fantasy team. However, if Joe Flacco continues to struggle, it might be time for the Colts to consider Richardson as their future quarterback.

Despite his struggles this season, Richardson’s upside is undeniable. If he does play, he could be worth considering in deeper leagues or if you’re in a pinch for options.

As we head into Week 11, the quarterback landscape may not be perfect, but there are still plenty of options to help you secure a win. Whether you choose to stream Russell Wilson, Justin Herbert, or Tua Tagovailoa, you have the chance to capitalize on favorable matchups and keep your fantasy team competitive. So, get ready to make your moves and good luck!
