X-Ray Alert: Bills’ Star QB Josh Allen Faces Left Hand Scare

Bills quarterback Josh Allen to undergo X-ray of left hand following injury, team awaits results

In a thrilling display of resilience and sheer determination, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has assured fans his heavily bandaged left hand is “fine,” though he plans to undergo X-rays to confirm he won’t miss any playing time.

Allen orchestrated a masterclass in quarterback play, throwing for 232 yards and delivering four touchdowns, leading the Bills to a stunning 34-28 comeback victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Allen also demonstrated his grit by scoring two rushing touchdowns, facing substantial contact and injuring his hand during the second one.

“The first one, I put my shoulder down a little bit knowing it was a corner. The second one, I knew it was Budda (Baker), and he was going to lower the barrier for you,” Allen vividly recounted. “So I decided to go up and pass. I probably can’t make a living doing this.”

Bills coach Sean McDermott stated that further updates on Allen’s condition will be provided on Monday after consultations with the team’s medical staff.

Allen showcased his incredible athleticism late in the game. With 8:44 left in the fourth quarter, and under heavy pressure from Cardinals defensive linemen Justin Jones and Baker, he dashed into the end zone for a brilliant 6-yard touchdown run. As he crossed the goal line, Allen endured a hard fall, landing on his left hand under the full force of his right elbow and the weight of his body.

Despite the apparent injury, Allen’s determination was unshakable. The athletic trainers tended to him on the sidelines, but he returned courageously to the field for the following possession with his hand bandaged.

The Bills’ victory and Allen’s performance underline the heart and grit of this NFL season. Buffalo fans can take a deep breath, hoping their star quarterback bounces back swiftly and continues to lead their charge toward postseason glory.
